Since you are here on my website, I know you love dogs. If you’ve been a dog lover as long as I have, no doubt you will have loved and lost dogs over the years.  Some people will take lots of photos or even have a painting done of their beloved dogs to remember them by.

Petsies takes this one step further, and using a photo or two from you, they will create a Stuffed animal in the shape of your dog. One of their artists then finishes the stuffie by shaping the fur and painting the stuffie to look like your Dog in the photo.

Some pet owners opt to have their dogs actual bodies ‘stuffed’ by a taxidermist, which is expensive, and in my opinion, a little creepy. I can’t imagine having the dead bodies of actual dogs standing or sitting around my house.

Having a stuffed toy, essentially it is a collectible toy, that looks just like my beloved dog sitting on my bed would be wonderfully comforting. Having a Petsie reproduction of my dog, would be like a 3D copy that I can reach out to hold and hug. Much better than a flat photo, right?
